Training-centers maintained by Jewish philanthropic groups are training 1,248 young people for emigration chiefly from Germany and Poland to countries of eventual settlement, according to a report to the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee made public today.

More than 60 per cent of those being trained are of German nationality, says the report and almost 20 per cent Polish. Of the total number, approximately 70 per cent are studying agriculture.
