Rebels Demand Fulfillment of Nationalist Demands

Arab sources revealed today that rebel bands which had waged guerilla warfare against Jews and Government forces for nearly six months have sent a memorandum to the Arab Supreme Committee declaring they will not surrender unless Arab national demands are fulfilled.

Five armed Arabs who raided a village in a quest for money were captured by the villagers and held for the authorities.

Arson was suspected today after a barrel of tax exploded in Tiberias, seriously injuring three Jewish children.

The Hebrew daily, Haboker, was suspended for three days by the Government.
