The British Cabinet, restrained by a desire not to infringe on public liberties, reached no concrete decisions today regarding a possible ban on political uniforms such as those carried by British Fascists, according to the Havas News Agency.
The conference agreed, however, on the necessity for solving the problem, which has become a major one since the recent disorders between Fascists and their opponents in London’s East End and increasingly sharp complaints against the Fascists by Labor groups.
The Cabinet meeting today followed a pledge to Labor groups to give “immediate and careful consideration” to the Fascist problem in England.
