Britain Sees Jews Not Jeopardized by New Iraq Regime

There is nothing to show that the safety of the Iraq Jews and other minorities has been jeopardized by the recent overturn in government, a Government spokesman stated in Commons today.

He added that the British Ambassador at Baghdad had informed the new Premier, Sikmat Bey Suleiman, that the criterion under which the new regime would be judged was the degree of humanitarianism with which it treated minorities.
