Ottawa Court Told Talmud Permits Birth Control

An Ottawa court, trying Dorothea Palmer on charges of advertising birth control information, heard testimony today that birth control was allowed by the Talmud.

Rabbi Samuel Sachs of Toronto testified that, according to the Talmud, Jews should have two children and more were not obligatory.
