The Royal Commission is empowered to investigate alleged inefficiency of the Palestine administration in suppressing the recent Arab disorders, it was stated in the House of Commons today by Colonial Secretary William Ormsby-Gore.

Mr. Ormsby-Gore also declared that the cost of maintaining Jewish special guards during the disorders is to be shared equally by the Palestine Government and the Jewish Agency for Palestine.
