The Jewish Agency for Palestine has concluded a “clearing” agreement with the Polish Government affecting capital of Jews emigrating to the Holy Land.
Isaac Gruenbaum, who conducted the negotiations for the Jewish Agency said before leaving for Palestine that it was in the hands of the Agency for final ratification with a number of minor points still under discussion.
He commented that the agreement was far more satisfactory than the Germany-Palestine transfer agreement, which permits export of capital only in the form of goods.
