Italian Papers Continue Anti-jewish Attacks

While Jews were participating in the celebration of the first anniversary of Italy’s victory in Ethiopia, certain Fascist newspapers continued anti-Semitic attacks.

Several Jewish communities sent addresses of loyalty to Premier Mussolini. One contributed a rare Ark of the Covenant to the Falashas (Ethiopian Jews). Another sent a large money gift to Il Duce.

Roberto Farinacci’s paper, Regime Fascista, and Vita Italiana continued to attack “international Jewry as anti-Fastist’ and blamed the Jews for the troubles of Europe.
