J.w. Wise and Mrs. Soule See Brazil Moving Toward Fascism

The Brazilian Government is “moving very fast toward a frank declaration of Fascism,” said James Waterman Wise and Mrs. Isobel Walker Soule today following their return from a trip to Brazil. Among the grounds for the belief that Brazil “is likely to become the New World outpost for Old World Fascism,” they cited the fact that a new immigration quota has been established applying only to Jews.
