Download PDF for this date

The fourteen demands of the Hungarian Nazi Arrow-and-Cross organization, including introduction of a Jewish cultural ghetto, have been rejected by the Government. Premier Daranyi refused to see its delegation.

Education Minister Homan has warned students:

“The Hungarian authorities will take the strictest possible measures against students who cause any disturbances. I am convinced that the serious and studious Hungarian youth has no connection with this movement and I hope it will shortly come to an end, as it has in previous years.”
