The Arab Chamber of Commerce today presented a memorandum to the German consulate protesting against the Germany-Palestine transfer agreement, (Haavara) whereby Jews emigrating from the Reich to the Holy Land are permitted to withdraw part of their capital in the form of German goods.
The German Consul-General said the memorandum had been forwarded to Berlin.
