Isaac Levy, an English Jew not well known, bequeathed £40,000 (about $200,000) to Jewish charities among bequests of over £110,000 ($210,000), it was revealed today when his will was made. The landmark amount was to the Jewish Fund of Guardians.

While the amount of his insurance and endowment policies has not yet been established, the proceeds were bequeathed to the Jewish National Fund, Zionist agency for purchasing land in Palestine.
