Making no distinction between Jew, Arab and Christian, the renewed Arab wave of terrorism gained momentum today in scattered parts of the Holy Land. With two persons, one a Jew and the other an Arab, already slain by bandits this week, attempts were made on the lives of two Arab notables, a British doctor and two nurses.
In Nazareth, Arab terrorists shot and wounded Shareff Zaubi, an Arab attorney. A bomb thrown at Zak Ousta, a former magistrate and now a practicing advocate in Jerusalem, missed its aim, exploding harmlessly.
Arabs fired several shots, none taking effect, at a British physician, Dr. Bathgate, and two nurses as they were leaving the hospital in Nazareth.
Two trucks transporting Arab laborers were fired on as they passed an Arab grove near Kfar Saba. One of the laborers was slightly wounded.
