Anti-Semitic demands for restriction of shechita, Jewish ritual method of slaughtering animals, will not be met by the Government, Interior Minister Julius Caplikas said today in a statement to the press.
Gen Caplikas declared the Government respected the Jewish religion and would do nothing against it.
