Jewish supernumerary policemen, demobilized since the end of the 1936 disorders last October, were being rearmed today as Arab disturbances continued on a wider scale.

An armed gang raided the Jewish colony of Mizpah, near Tiberias, firing into grazing flocks of sheep. When police arrived, they were shot at from hills surrounding the colony. While the skirmish was in progress, the Arabs drove off the sheep.

Two Jewish policemen were fired upon at Samakh. A bus carrying Jewish passengers was stoned near Haifa. A woman was reported seriously wounded.
