The Nazi Government today adopted a law empowering its Interior Ministry to take reprisals against foreigners whose countries take measures against German citizens, the Havas News Agency reported.

Under the law, approved by the Cabinet at today’s emergency session called by Chancellor Hitler, the Interior Ministry is granted full powers to take punitive action against foreign nationals if their own governments have acted against Reich nationals in these foreign territories.

The law is entitled “for security of the Reich frontier,” and includes provision for the Interior Ministry to take “all useful measures” for frontier security.
