British Statesman Lauds Laguardia on ‘stand Against Nazi Terrorism’

Commander Oliver Locker-Lampson, Conservative member of Parliament, wired Mayor LaGuardia of New York his congratulations for the Mayor’s “stand against Nazi terrorism, ” the Havas News Agency reported today.

“Many congratulations, Mr. Mayor, ” read the telegram, “upon your stand against Nazi terrorism, and still more on your refusal to climb down. Long may you and other transatlantic free men refuse to become slaves to the Swastika.”
