Two young Soviet pianists, Jacob Zak and Rosa Tamarkin, were announced today as first and second prize winners in the third international Chopin competition. Other prize winners were Jan Eker, Olga Iliwicka of Poland, and Tatiana Goldfarb, of Russia.
