The Brazilian Federal Trade Council has approved a plan, which President Getulio Vargas is expected to sanction, permitting a larger influx of agricultural immigrants by fixing a temporary quota of 3,000 immigrants yearly for each nationality, the New York Times reported today from Rio de Janeiro.
