Peretz Clubs Closed in Poland

Several Jewish cultural clubs named for J.L. Peretz, the Yiddish writer, have been closed by the authorities, including those in Lodz and Lwow. In addition, the Jewish Tailors’ Union of Lwow and a Jewish library in the town of Gritza were closed.
