A motion picture is being filmed here of the book “Seven Pillars of Wisom” by the late Col. T.E. Shaw (Lawrence of Arabia). It is believed Emir Abdullah of Transjordan will consent to appear in several sequences.
Preparations are now being made for one of the outstanding scenes, a battle in which the Abu Lisan tribe of Bedouins participates. The scene will show hordes of shrieking cameleers and horsemen racing across the desert to annihilate a division of Turkish troops. British troops are expected to cooperate in filming the scene.
