Winter Again Heads Polish Jews’ Appeal

Benjamin Winter, chairman of the American Committee Appeal for the Jews in Poland, will occupy the same position during 1937, the Committee announced today following a dinner at the Hotel Astor last night. Other officers of the $1,000,000 campaign are Prof. Albert Einstein, honorary chairman; George Gorden Battle, honorary treasurer; George E. Sokolsky, honorary secretary; Jacob Brown, chairman, executive committee, Zelig Tygel, executive director and Jeremiah T. Mahoney, head of the New York division.
