Hadassah to Plant 10,000 Trees in Brandeis Forest

Ten thousand trees, costing $15,000, will be planted in the Haifa Bay section of Palestine as a tribute to Louis D. Brandeis, Associate Justice of the United States Supreme Court, Hadassah announced today.

The cost of the trees will be contributed by Hadassah members throughout the country to mark the justice’s 80th birthday. The Brandeis Forest will be planted along Hadassah Parkway in the Haifa Bay development in a 8,000-acre area being redeemed by the Jewish National Fund.
