Noted leaders of British Jewry joined today in an appeal for creation of a fund to support and strengthen the Jewish section of the National Youth Movement, as a coronation memorial.

The appeal, in the form of a letter published in the Times, is signed by Lionel Rothschild, Lord Bearsted, Sir Max Bohn and Sir Robert Waley Cohen. A goal of $500,000 has been set for the fund, of which half has been promised for establishment of new boys’ and girls’ clubs.
