A number of Jewish passengers were injured today when a truck operated by the Palestine Potash Company, on its way to the Dead Sea, was stoned by Arabs.

Two Arab workmen were shot and slightly wounded as they passed through the center of the Old City here.

British police are standing by under arms following last night’s shooting by an Arab of Joseph Trigoda, member of Jerusalem’s oldest Sephardic Jewish family. Native police are unarmed.
