A SYNAGOGUE AND THE HOME OF A JEWISH RESIDENT WERE BOMBED SATURDAY IN VARNA, BLACK SEA RESORT, SCENE OF SEVERAL ANTI-SEMITIC BOMBINGS LAST WEEK.
ARREST OF 140 FASCISTS WAS ANNOUNCED IN CONNECTION WITH PREVIOUS BOMBINGS. THE ARRESTS WERE MADE UPON ORDER OF INTERIOR MINISTER M.T. KRASNOVSKY, TO WHOM A DELEGATION OF JEWISH LEADERS HAD PROTESTED.
