THE COLONIZATION PROJECT FOR EXILED GERMAN JEWS IN COSTA RICA HAS ENCOUNTERED OPPOSITION WITHIN THE REPUBLIC, ACCORDING TO A DISPATCH FROM SAN JOSE TO THE NEW YORK TIMES.

A FRONT PAGE STORY IN THE DIARIO DE COSTA RICA DEMANDED STRICT ENFORCEMENT OF THE IMMIGRATION LAWS WITH REGARD TO THE PROPOSED COLONY, THE TIMES DISPATCH SAID.
