LEWIS ANDREWS, AUSTRALIAN-BORN DISTRICT COMMISSIONER FOR GALILEE, AND A BRITISH POLICEMAN WERE KILLED TODAY AT NAZARETH, IN NORTHERN PALESTINE, BY AN ARMED ARAB BAND, THE HAVAS NEWS AGENCY REPORTED. ANDREWS, WHO WAS 41 YEARS OLD, WAS AN AUSTRALIAN EX-SERVICEMAN. HE IS SURVIVED BY HIS WIDOW, ONE SON AND TWO DAUGHTERS.
