Christians at London U. to Join Jews in Protesting “ghetto Benches” in Poland

THE CHRISTIAN STUDENTS’ ORGANIZATION AT THE UNIVERSITY OF LONDON WILL JOIN THE JEWISH UNION SOCIETY IN HOLDING A PROTEST RALLY AGAINST “GHETTO BENCHES” IN POLISH UNIVERSITIES, IT WAS ANNOUNCED TODAY AT A GENERAL MEETING OF THE SOCIETY.

THE MEETING UNANIMOUSLY ADOPTED A RESOLUTION DECLARING THAT “AUTHORIZATION OF A UNIVERSITY GHETTO IS NO LESS THAN THE OFFICIAL SANCTIONING OF THAT HOOLIGANISM WHICH HAS RECENTLY DRAGGED THE HONORABLE NAME OF THE FAMOUS POLISH UNIVERSITIES INTO THE DUST OF INFAMY.”

ADDRESSING THE SOCIETY, TOM WILLIAMS, LABOR MEMBER OF PARLIAMENT, DEMANDED THAT THE BRITISH GOVERNMENT INFLUENCE THE LEAGUE OF NATIONS MANDATES COMMISSION TO OBTAIN REMOVAL OF THE NEGEB REGION IN SOUTHERN PALESTINE ENTIRELY FROM ARAB HANDS. HE ALSO ASSERTED THAT JEWISH TRADES UNIONS HAD BEEN A TREMENDOUS FORCE FOR THE UNITING OF JEWS AND ARABS.
