Recent newspapers reports alleging attacks and threats of violence against Jews are baseless, the Jewish Telegraphic Agency was informed by a number of prominent Jews here, including Rev. Gudanski, senior minister of the Dublin Hebrew Congregation, Robert Briscoe, M.P., Prof. J. Baker, and Arthur Newman, among others.
Mr. Briscoe said there was “not a single case of violence against Jews” and the anti-Semitic movement was “so insignificant that the Government did not deem it worthy of notice.” The so-called Irish Christian Protection Association has few adherents and is of no consequence, he said.
