Palestine industry is gradually gaining public support in the Holy Land, reports the monthly Palestine Review, and two new organizations have been formed to promote home industry.

A Foreign Trade Institute, which will promote and finance the export of industrial products and seek to establish commercial relations with other countries, has been organized by the Jewish Agency, the Anglo-Palestine Bank and the Industrial Bank of the Manufacturers’ Association.

The Jewish Agency has also established a Technical Consultation Department to advance the efficiency of local industry by giving advice regarding organization, rationalization, raw materials, systems of work and availability of technical experts.
