JERUSALEM (Jan. 16)
A Jewish Ghaffir (special guard) was killed yesterday and another slightly injured while guarding the Sanhedria section of Jerusalem. Isaac Zindenberg, the injured guard, saw two Arabs escaping into the suburban village of Lifta. The slain guard, Samuel Levy, was a Yemenite. He left a wife and two children. Both were among the 650 Jewish Ghaffir appointed recently.
