Arrival here of Ernst Wilhelm Bohle, German Foreign Office secretary and chief of Nazi organizations abroad, was signalized by the launching of a strong anti-Semitic campaign. Motorcycles raced through the city streets, distributing anti-Jewish pamphlets. Similar pamphlets were distributed in motion picture houses and theatres. Three persons were arrested.
