William G.A. Ormsby-Gore, Colonial Secretary, today dispelled reports that Nuri Pasha es-Said, former Iraqi Foreign Minister, had visited him in behalf of the Palestine Arab cause by telling Commons that the visit was entirely personal.

Replying to a question by Mr. Creech Jones, Mr. Ormsby-Gore said he received Nuri Pasha as an old acquaintance, the conversation between them was entirely informal and Nuri Pasha did not represent himself as being in a representative capacity, nor did he submit formal representations or proposals.
