The Palestine Government was reported preparing to open ten new radio stations in different parts of the Holy Land, for the exclusive use of the police and troops. The stations will be located in Jenin, Nablus and other localities near the northern frontier where Arab terrorist bands are concentrated. They are expected to cost $300,000.

Following intervention by Chief Rabbi Isaac Herzog the Government released all Jewish prisoners from the Acre jail.
