“pitiless Boycott” of Jews Urged by Vienna Paper

Deutsches Volksblatt of Vienna urges a “pitiless anti-Jewish boycott” until the last Jew is forced to emigrate from Austria, indicating that this is the course demanded by Marshal Hermann Goering, Germany’s economic dictator, in his last Vienna speech, which was not published.

It is learned reliably that the report of the death of Hermann Leopoldi, the Jewish comedian in Austria is unfounded. Leopoldi intends to perform in June at the Trencin-Teplitz resort in Czechoslovakia.

Large crowds were reported to have attended the funeral of Edmund Eysler, the famous Jewish composer, who died in Austria at the age of 64. He composed several operas and operettas, and also songs and dances.

Jonas Eisler, the Jewish owner of the largest Austrian canning factory, died suddenly.
