The League of Poles in Germany has submitted to the German Government a lengthy memorandum charging economic, cultural and religious discrimination, and in some cases, boycott and violence, the New York Times reported today from Berlin. The grievances include the insulting, assaulting and maltreatment of Poles; boycott of Polish business enterprises; raids on Polish organizations and libraries; handicapping of Polish schools; exclusion of Poles from university life; obstructions in getting and holding jobs; difficulties imposed on use of the Polish language; frequent seizure of Poles’ passports.
