The purchase of Sperrmarks, which are almost the only means for the transfer of funds of Jewish emigrants, is prohibited for Jews and foreigners by a decree issued by the Foreign Exchange Central Office. The closing of the Sperrmark applies also to “Aryan” emigrants, but provision is made for allowing exceptions for them.
