The Women’s Zionist Organization of Poland today cabled Queen Mother Mary of England to intercede on behalf of the two condemned Palestine Jewish youths. At the same time, the Polish Union of Rabbis joined with the Warsaw Jewish Community in cabling an appeal for clemency to Major General Haining. All Jewish newspapers publish editorials asking commutation of sentence.
