The families of Simon Marks and I.M. Sieff, merchants and communal leaders, have contributed a total of $50,000 to the Zionist emergency fund, it was disclosed at a meeting of the Women’s Zionist Organization. The conviction that Palestine will overcome all difficulties was voiced by Mrs. Edgar Dugdale, niece of the late Lord Balfour, who presided. Other speakers included Dr. Ben Zion Mossinsohn and Dr. Alexander Goldstein.
