A work stoppage was proclaimed for tomorrow, the last of the seven days of mourning for Shlomo Ben Josef, Polish Jewish youth who was executed in Palestine last Wednesday, by Jewish organizations in his native town of Luck at a memorial meeting today. It was also decided to plant a Ben Josef forest at the Palestine colony of Rosh Pina.
Ben Josef’s death will be a stimulus to the unification of Jewish forces for the fight for a free Palestine, Deputy Emil Sommerstein declared at a meeting of the Jewish Parliamentary Club here.
