Hungarian Minister Urges Jews Not Be ‘thrown in Street’

Christian science demands that 16,000 Jews whose existence is shaken by the law establishing proportional restrictions on Jewish participation in economic life not be thrown into the street, Minister of Justice Odon Mikecz declares in an article in Revue de Hongrie.

Hopes that the prohibition on kosher slaughter would be lifted rose today after a delegation of Christian cattle breeders complained to the Ministry of Agriculture that consumption and export had declined alarmingly.
