Prof. Alexander Cuza’s National Christian Party, whose late co-leader, Octavian Goga, was Premier of an anti-Semitic government for 43 days, has been reconstituted under the name “League of National Consciousness” after its suppression under the new constitution, according to private telephone advices from Jassy today.

Following a memorial meeting for Goda, a meeting was held in Prof. Cuza’s home with Prof. Cuza, his son Gheorohe Cuza, Minister of Labor in Goga’s cabinet, Istrate Micescu, Foreign Minister in the same government, and other prominent anti-Semites participating, which founded the new league as a cultural organization.

Prof. Cuza was elected honorary president, M. Micescu president and Gheorghe Cuza, general secretary. It is believed in informed quarters that the founding of the league is connected with an audience given to Prof. Cuza by Premier Miron Christea a fortnight ago.

A large Rumanian delegation is expected to go to Nuremberg, Germany, for the Nazi Congress in September after Chancellor Hitler personally invited both Cuzas.
