The “strange racial heresy infecting the German mind” rather than failures in statesmanship was declared to be the main obstacle to British-German peace in an address last night by the Bishop of Durham at a mass demonstration here to protest anti-Jewish persecution. The bishop asserted anti-Semitism was a spreading disease affecting the entire world.
