Brita n’s Palestine Partition Commission today heard testimony from Sir Arthur Grenfell Wauchope, former British High Commissioner for Palestine, and from the assistant director of the Colt Archaeological Expedition in the Near East.
Emir Ibn Saud of Saudi Arabia declared in an interview published here: “The Arab world as a whole can never agree to the carving up of the holy land into three separate states. No arguments will convince the Arabs that partition is the best solution.”
