ROME (Aug. 30)
Pitiless prosecution of the anti-Jewish campaign was promised today by IL Tevere, leading italian anti-Semitic newspaper published here.
Warning Jews and sympathizers attempting to defend them and to minimize the anti-Jewish measures to be taken October I by the fascist grand council, the newspaper said in an editorial:
“We will not dramatize the situation, but we will be without pity. We will discriminate only on racial grounds and the Jews, belonging to another race, will not be able to enjoy the rights of Italians.”
