Conforming to the Italian Government’s new racial policy, two leading insurance companies today replaced their Jewish presidents with non Jews, one of them Fulvio Suvich, ambassador to the united States.

The ousted Jews, who submitted “resignations,” are Edgardo Morpurgo, a Chevalier of the Grand Cross, and president of the Assicurazioni Generali, and Arnoldo Frigessi di Rattalma, head of the Riunione Adriatica di Sicurta. Morpurgo was replaced by Count Volpi, former Finance Minister and di Rattalma by Ambassador Suvich.
