Discounting reports of deterioration in the Palestine economic situation as a result of the Central European crisis, Siegfried Hoofien, managing director of the Anglo-Palestine Bank, told the Jewish Telegraphic Agency today that there was no sign of nervousness in banking and trade circles. He added that he felt the Palestine Government was not anxious over the situation.
