Rome Warns Foreign Jews on Attitude to Italy

Giornale d’Italia, Government mouthpiece, today warned foreign Jews to modify their attitude towards Italy before it is too late, indicating that the Fascist Grand Council might acknowledge Jewish merits by “equitable exceptions.”

The paper also denied rumors that Field Marshal Pietro Badoglio, “The conqueror of Ethiopia,” was of Jewish origin.
