Dr. Joshua Boucmil, noted Zionist pioneer and resident of Palestine since 1923, died here today at the age of 69. Dr. Boucmil early became a follower of Dr. Theodore Herzl, father of political Zionism, and in 1897 was Dr. Herzl’s emissary to Russia in connection with organizational work for the first Zionist Congress. He wrote a number of works on the “Jewish renaissance.”
